Opened in 2016 by Dr. Hussain Rahal and Tony Garcia in a heritage mansion in the capital’s Somerset Village, Fairouz is an upscale-casual restaurant featuring modern Middle Eastern cuisine finely crafted by Executive Chef Walid El-Tawel and his talented culinary team. Benchmark standards of quality in local ingredients and farm fresh produce are enhanced by the traditional herbs and spices of the Middle East. A sophisticated wine and beer list have been curated and thoughtfully crafted cocktails are helmed by our talented Mixologists. All of this is served in an elegant social setting designed by Kayla Pongrac. From friendly gatherings to private events, Fairouz offers versatile menus and venue options for any occasion.

This was a special project for Kayla as she had the opportunity to work with a great friend, passionate client and a very talented chef.  All components were executed in the making of Fairouz - from major architectural and structural renovations, interior design components including custom mouldings and millwork to middle eastern decor and a three part art mural of Fairouz herself.
